Q. Is there a limit on the number of Entries?
Ans. Yes 1,200 for half. Race sold out in 2017.

Q. Do I have to go to registration?
Ans. Ideally yes. If you can’t go you can send someone in your
place.

Q. What do I need to bring with me for registration?
Ans. Bring yourself and a smile

Q. Can I Enter the Event at Number pick up on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday?
Ans. Potentially yes – pls note once online is closed these are classed as ‘late entries’. Late entries are subject to availability.  We will either change you +€5 for a late entry or the entry fee will remain as advertised but you will not receive the Top. This will be decided by organisers once online entry is closed. 

Q. Can I walk the course?
Ans. Yes. We are unique in having an Earlier start time so
walkers can enjoy the atmosphere at the finish along with runners.
Walkers get a half hour head start.

Q. Will I get an official time for my race?
Ans. Yes. We are using timing chips. You will receive one at
Registration.

Q. Will I receive a Medal for finishing my race?
Ans. Yes! Everyone who finishes will receive a Medal.

Q. If I don't make the race will you post out the medal to me?
Ans. No. You must complete the race to receive the medal (no exceptions). If you don't make the race you forfeit the medal. Note - transfers of entries are not allowed. Take note if you entered the Trilogy series. 

Q. Can I raise funds for a chosen Charity?
Ans. Yes. We would encourage you to do so.

Q. Is it possible to get a refund of the entry fee or transfer an entry?
Unfortunately, no. We cannot refund your fee or defer entry to
the following year under any circumstances. Transfers are also not allowed. 

Q. Is there an age restriction for participants?
Yes. Under 18’s cannot participate in Half Marathon. This is
in line with the IAAF guidelines

Q. Where are the aid stations located?
Yes. Half Marathon water will be in bottles at 3 locations km
6.5, km 11.5, km 15.5. The 10km aid station will be located at km
5.8.

Q . Will the course be marked in miles or kilometres?
Ans. The course is officially measured in km’s, so the marking
on the day will also be in km’s. It is yellow KM signs for the Half marathon
