For most seasoned runners it’s an automatic reflex to arrive at this section and proceed to Enter.
Then there are others who are about to make a serious commitment which may see them running/ walking the longest distance of their lives… Kudos to you! We wish you every success.
The Wexford Half Marathon team hopes that everyone achieves their respective goals. We will be offering training tips based on middle distance running experience to guide you through your training and Race day.
Entry to the Half Marathon is €48 NOW €43
Entry to the Half Marathon for OAP’s (over 65) is €40
(OAP’s are requested to Register on the morning of race)
For this you will receive:
- a) Race Number
- b) Timing Chip (this will be returned at Finish line)
- c) Technical T shirt
- d) Finishers Medal
- e) Meal Voucher
- f) Training Tips
Under 18's
Please note that you must be over 18 to enter the Half Marathon. This is in line with the IAAF guidelines.
Under 18’s can participate as a Relay Team of 3 participants ONLY. This is in line with the IAAF guidelines that the minimum age is 18 for distances of 10k and above on the road.

Recommendation
It is recommended that any potential participant not currently
involved in physical sporting activity, should undertake a medical
examination before taking part in the Half Marathon.
